TGW Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

TGW Logistics Group is supplier of material handling equipment and automated storage and retrieval systems for warehousing, production, picking and distribution, headquartered in Marchtrenk, Austria. The company engineers, produces and installs material handling solutions in different sizes, from small conveyor installations to complex distribution centers. The company name TGW comes from its original German name Transportgeräte Wels.

A former employee mentioned, "Everyone at TGW makes really good money but have no clue if they are foot or horseback. The level of stress with any of the positions is ridiculous. They run their shop employees like they are poo on their shoe. No communication between shop and office. The union was a joke, so much so that union meetings were a time to come in late. Not a lot of people at them either, and I don't wonder why because the union rep doesn't care either because the higher powers that be are a joke to deal with. Ask anyone there and they'll tell you it's like the Wizard of OZ in there. In this case it's someone behind the curtain in Austria. Office people are afraid to see manual labor taking place."

Roofer/Laborer (Former Employee) says

"the money was great. doing rate roofing jobs pay very good. it would have been good if I had prier experience, but, I didn't so I had to learn what to do and yet work at a fast pace. co workers where very cool. Management pushed you to get your work done fast. hardest part was waking up at 2:30 3 am to go to work and getting home at 7 8 pm from work. the most enjoyable part of the job was the pay. Cons: long hours short breaks"

Assembly, Break Press, Welder (Former Employee) says

Cons: See above, run like a sweat shop but with good pay"

Assembly Line Worker (Current Employee) says

"good company to work for. Good wages. Long hours. Lot of heavy lifting."

Assembler (Former Employee) says

"In stockroom, I unloaded parts on trucks. I also learned how to work the break press and was a level two assembler. The most enjoyable part of my job was I worked with my cousin at the factory. Cons: short breaks, location"

Leigh Matich says

"Shipped shoe box in a plastic bag. Arrived severely damaged. Very slow response time for conclusion and by the time I got one more than a week later they didn't have the shoe size in stock with which to replace it."

Eric Riley says

"Placed a order in 11/28/2020, received order on 12/14/2020. Ordered customized golf balls they screwed up the order. Don’t order from this company, order from PGA superstore."

Chris says

"This company is trash. I ordered a pair of golf shoes that were in stock. I hardly got an update on my order for 5 days, then finally a week later I got an email notifying me my order was “canceled.” They had no problem taking the money out of my account but couldn’t inform me the item was out of stock in the first place. No apologies, no offer for a solution. Now I have to wait for them to take a “hold” off my bank account. I am one and done with TGW."

TC says

"No returns/exchanges on Nike??? I placed an order with tgw.com for 4 Nike pullovers. Nowhere on the product page or the order confirmation did it say "no returns/exchanges." Luckily I checked their order page and cancelled the order. Who buys expensive clothes online without the ability to return or exhange them? I do not trust tgw.com and won't do business with them again."

Jay Uhm says

"One of the worst experience ever! I received an update on Thursday that my order was in progress and 10 days later no change! I made numerous phone calls but nobody seems know what is going on with the order! I've finally decided to cancel the order and am waiting to see if they will issue me the credit for my order. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!"

William Dill says

"I purchased a golf bag from TGW online, sent me email the very next day they advertised a sale on the exact same bag model and color. They had not even shipped my purchase yet. I contacted customer service, was informed they would get back to me, 5 days later no response about my issue. However they have sent me 5 new emails pushing products, but no response on my inquiry. Horrible customer service."

Brandon Bush says

"Ordered a set of irons 4-PW. 4 iron was missing. They told me the club was out of stock but I could get a refund for the price of the one club. Long story short, it took 5 more phone calls and 2 months before I finally got the refund."
